Chronic Granulomatous Disease is a very rare inherited primary immune deficiency disorder that affects certain white blood corpuscles (lymphocytes). It is characterized by widespread granulomatous tumor-like lesions, and an inability to resist repeated infectious diseases. Life-threatening infections of the skin, lungs, and bones may occur along with swollen areas of inflamed tissues known as granulomas.
